My daughters were fortunate enough to be able to experience dance at their daycare facility beginning at ages 3 and 5. The Miss Marion's facilitated program was my first indication that Miss Marion's was the place for us. The studio has always considered the working parents and made ways to accommodate those who needed help. Once the girls started to attend the studio we fell in love with the staff. The teachers genuinely love their students and want them to enjoy their dance experience. My girls have practiced a wide variety of dance from a very talented staff plus have been fortunate enough to have taken classes from guest chorographers from around the country.
We've turned to Miss Marion's dance school for years. Both of my daughters have enjoyed the classes. You're learning from the pro's who do things right. The first hand experience at Rockette level can't be beat! And at the end of the year it's not just another recital that you grin and bare - it's an amazing and entertaining show! You will love it!.
I love dancing at Miss Marion’s!!! During my 6 years I’ve learned many things and I have become a much better dancer. Not only does Miss Marion’s teach dance, the also teach stage presence. Using these skills has helped me during the National American Miss pageants. I most recently held the title of National American Miss South Carolina Jr. Pre-Teen 2011. Miss Marion’s has given me confidence and poise that will last a life time!!

I would never have been a professional dancer and a Radio City Rockette for 8 years without the training I received from Miss Marion's School of Dance in my hometown of Spartanburg, SC. My tap training I received from Miss Marion, Lori Axelrod, and the other instructors, helped me to become a NYC Rockette and also book the Broadway 1st National Tour of "42nd Street" as well as the National Tour of "Barry Manilow's Copacabana" and numerous other productions. Many thanks to Miss Marion, Lori, and all the other fabulous teachers who instructed me along the way on my journey that started at Miss Marion's School of Dance at the age of 2 and 1/2.
I started dancing when I was 2 years old. From the very first day I put on my tap shoes, I loved dance. In my time at Miss Marion's, we have danced in Disney World, performed on a cruise ship, and competed in many top-tier dance competitions. Miss Lori has always taught me that dance is much more than a form of art and expression. Not only is dancing an outlet for saying words through movement that are not always so easily said, but dance is also a place where you grow as a person and where your character is often defined. Miss Lori and the staff at Miss Marion's have instilled in me lessons about life that I will carry with me throughout my life. To me, Miss Marion's has always been my second home. I feel so extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from Miss Lori and the rest of the staff for 16 years. I can't imagine taking dance classes anywhere else.
